About the Featured Image

Buildings 1-5 and 7 on the Bethesda campus of the NIH about 1947.  Building 6 is out of the photo to the right.  At the top of the photo behind a field is the home of the Sisters of the Visitation of Washington, now the home of our offices.  The building is now the Mary Woodard Lasker Center for Health Research and Education.
