About the Featured Image

Buildings 1-5 and 7 on the Bethesda campus of the NIH about 1947.  Building 6 is out of the photo to the right.  At the top of the photo behind a field is the convent of the Sisters of the Visitation of Washington, now the Mary Woodard Lasker Center for Health Research and Education, and home to our office.
