Record Your "Oral" History

We've obtained the oral histories in our collection in a variety of ways: some have been collected by staff in our office; some are collected by contract historians, and some we acquire from other organizations.  But if you worked at NIH, we're interested in your story.  Contact us for a list of questions that we often ask our interviewees if you want to tell us your story or if you know someone whose story should be captured.  While we'd love a digital audio file of you talking, if you have to write out your answers and submit them, that's okay too.  Please contact history@nih.gov for more information.
