Devon Valera is the assistant curator and collections manager at the Office of NIH History and Stetten Museum. She graduated from George Washington University in 2022 with a Master's Degree in Museum Studies with Collections Management concentration. As assistant curator, she supports the ongoing curation, maintenance, and care of the object collection alongside researching is responsible for expanding public knowledge on NIH history, writing educational content for exhibition, and creating weekly social media posts. As collections manager, she is responsible for the intellectual and physical care of the object collection, addressing facilities concerns and processing incoming and outgoing objects.
