Deborah A. Kraut is on detail to the Office of NIH History and the Stetten Museum in order to access information for the preparation of a monograph on the history of the NIH AIDS programs, including the establishment of the Office of AIDS Research, the inception and development of the NIH AIDS extramural programs, the intramural research efforts, and the work of the National AIDS Executive Committee (NAEC), the AIDS Program Advisory Committee (APAC), the OAR Advisory Council (OARAC), and the work of the NIH AIDS Research Program Evaluation Task Force.
