HOW TO MAKE A DONATION
The Stetten Museum collects medical instruments and technologies related to the NIH intramural programs as well as non-scientific artifacts such as paintings of distinguished NIH scientists, gifts to the institutes, cornerstones of NIH buildings, and NIH laboratory clothing.
Because storage is limited, each offered item must be reviewed for appropriateness and uniqueness (we cannot collect multiple examples of any instrument). Please call curator Michele Lyons at 301-496-6610 to discuss the item you wish to donate.

PRE-ACCESSION FORMS
Most instruments and artifacts have little meaning unless their use is understood. To help us explain the significance of each object, please download, print, and complete the appropriate pre-accession form on the item you wish to donate. This will help us consider the donation expeditiously and identify other documents that we need acquire for our files.
